Commercial Tarmac & Asphalt Surfacing Leeds & Yorkshire

Car park resurfacing, factory and yard surfacing, access roads and private-road asphalt works planned around live commercial sites across Leeds, West Yorkshire and wider Yorkshire.

01 / Scope

Ground that keeps business moving.

Atkinson Surfacing delivers commercial asphalt works from preparation through to finished lining. The programme is set around access, vehicle movements and the way the site needs to operate while work is under way. Site surveys are free and may lead to a written quotation once scope, access and phasing are understood.

02 / Delivery

From existing surface to finished site.

The exact construction varies by site. The sequence below shows how planned resurfacing is taken from initial scope through preparation, laying, compaction and handover.

01

Survey and scope

Review the existing surface, access, drainage interfaces, vehicle movements and the areas that need to remain available. Drainage, channel and interface works can be carried out directly where required.

02

Planing and preparation

Remove failed material or the existing surface to the agreed depth, then prepare the area for the new asphalt.

03

Machine laying

Lay the specified asphalt by machine to establish a controlled, consistent surface across the working area.

04

Rolling and compaction

Compact the newly laid material in stages while the surface is at the correct working temperature.

05

Line marking and handover

Complete the agreed markings, inspect the finished work and return the area to the client in planned phases. Small line-marking works are completed directly; larger schemes use a trusted specialist subcontractor.
